Wally Malone Posted November 25, 2010 Share Posted November 25, 2010 While I was seeing the doctor for my shoulder I mentioned to him the problem I was having with pain at the bottom of my thumb where it meets the hand. He told me I had trigger finger and he gave me a shot. After about a week I really noticed the difference when playing. Prior to getting the shot it hurt doing almost anything including opening up the case for my glasses. I'll continue playing a little up to the shoulder surgery then will not be able to play for awhile. In the mean time I'm glad the thumb doesn't hurt when playing now. lug Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Had trigger finger in 4 fingers. Three on my plucking hand and one on my fretting hand. Got shots for all of them but only one worked 100% and permanently. Lucky for me it was the fretting hand as the condition doesn't really come into play on the plucking hand when playing.
