Virgin Dog
Once upon a time, I owned a book of Who sheet music and it had the complete bass part to The Real Me. I went looking for it the other day and couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a copy of it? I'm looking for standard notation, not bass tab. Thanks! Paul K
Would this help: http://www.azchords.com/w/who-tabs-4746.html Things are just the way they are, and they're only going to get worse.
Virgin Dog
Thanks, but I really need the standard notation. I want to get it tattooed.
Richard W
that will be a kick ass tattoo--you getting the whole song or just a few measures? "Everyone wants to change the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves." Leo Tolstoy
Virgin Dog
I'm hoping for the first page, with the title at the top and about five or six staffs wrapping around my upper arm. I'd like to get it done on my birthday, but seeing as how that's only two days away and I can't find the sheet music anywhere, I might have to wait another year. Stuart Clayton
Hi, I wrote a John Entwistle/The Who transcription book last year, which contains transcriptions of both versions of 'The Real Me' in standard notation and TAB. You can get it from www.basslinepublishing.com. Hope that helps - I also hope that the PDF that someone offered to send you isn't from the book. Cheers Stuart www.basslinepublishing.com
Seamy ALB
I could email it to you to Stuart if you want, I made it on Guitar Pro. BTW I prefer the WASP version. http://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Little-Bitter/185235472447
Virgin Dog
Thanks Seamy! If I'm able to get the tattoo (and it looks any good), I'll post a picture somewhere.
Virgin Dog
Oh, and thanks to you too, Stuart. I just checked out basslinepublishing.com and I'm surpised it didn't come up in my Google search. Their samples show The Real Me and it looks awesome.
