johnnycee
Hi guys, I've done a video and article on my Top 5 Timing Exercises on my site. http://www.johnnycopland.com/?p=671 They're inspired by various ones i've picked up over the years from Carol Kaye, Victor Wooten, others or adapted myself etc... Would be interested to hear of any other ones that pros or students have used to good effect. peace, Johnny
Davo-London
Listen, whilst it may be a plug for your teaching services, I like your vids and think the format of your website and teaching is very instructive and helpful. Good luck with your teaching and sessions. Davo "We will make you bob your head whether you want to or not". - David Sisk
Davo-London
As for the timing exercises I play several of these although not routinely. I also play drums to an intermediate standard and so this is where my timing exercises are mostly used. b5pilot
Nice exercises. I'll have to try them not so much for my timing but for strenghting my concentration in doing them. My mind tends to wander, Ooo squirrel, occasionally. Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband
