Winston Psmith
The Greg Bennett guitars are built by Samick (the big 'S' on the head stock), and Samick builds Epiphone. A String
I love the bass! The wood grains on some of those guitars are incredible! I have a Samick bass that I bought, instead of a Fender P Bass. My Samick bass is easily the best sounding and most versatile bass I've ever played. skipclone 1
Yeah no kidding-the first one is a `Fender`, most of them sure don`t look like that. Great photos. A few years ago I found out about a singer, Natasha St. Pier. I believe she is also Quebecois. Are you familar with her music? tonyj32
---The Greg Bennett guitars are built by Samick (the big 'S' on the head stock), and Samick builds Epiphone. Samick never did build "all" Epiphone guitars. Read the interview with Epiphone president Jim Rosenburg, circa 2004. By 2004 the Samick factory had been closed for two years. http://www.epiphone.com/news.asp?NewsID=

I own a '99 Joe Pass Epi that was made by Samick and it plays pretty nice. Odd . . . the guitar shop I worked at was still getting in Samick guitars, as of this time last year. Maybe it's just the Epiphone plant that closed. At any rate, thanks for the correction on this. I only have one Epi, a Dot, MIK, and it's been a very nice guitar. "Monsters are real, and Ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win."
