[i shared this with Mama earlier and she gave me the green light.]

Diverse musical acts I've been in? Household names, no. Diverse, yes. (Pardon me for coloring outside the lines a bit on this bass forum.)

"Cultural Vogue" music act - selections from Claude Bolling's Suite for Flute & Jazz Piano Trio, culture/fashion show.

3 Day "walker stalker" (guitar/mandolin/vocals) - Top 40 rock, cheering on 3 Day walkers in Detroit, Chicago and Atlanta. [They walk 60 miles in 3 days to raise money for breast cancer research.]

Annointed Voices of Praise (tenor) - gospel choir, Pontiac, MI.

Adult Handbell Choir (uh, handbells?) - traditional fare, St. Fabian Catholic Church.

Chinese lion dance troupe (drum) - the lion was performed by one of the guys from Once Upon a Time in China III.

I will concede to Jeremy if he has ever messed around with his wife's hurdy gurdy in public. ;)

I think it's très cool, Eric, that you've stretched yourself so far musically.

Personally, I think that's none of our d@mn business.

1. Count Basie w/ Dennis Rowland at Finney Chapel in Oberlin Ohio. 1982ish. I was with my folks, I was 9 or 10 at the time. Basie was in a wheel chair. Pretty cool of my folks.

Saw Basie's orchestra again in the late 80's with Dizzy after Basie Died at Arizona State University.

2. Cameo--That's right, Word Up. 1988ish Tuscon Arizona

3. Pink Floyd--Delicate Sound of Thuner Tour

4. Madame Butterfly with Phoenix Symphony 2008

5. Miles at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in 1991
