02R96
There are a few shops selling complete guitar bodies minus the necks. How do they obtain these? Do they buy complete guitars and part them out? Dan "I hate what I've become, trying to escape who I am..."
The Geoff
They are usually imports broken in transit. I bought one in the UK - it was fine. No provenance, though, you have no idea what it was. G. 02R96
What caught my eye was the exact model I've been gasing over (and American Telecaster in Crimson Red Transparent), minus the neck. The description say's it's in mint condition, no scratches or dings. I know though - Buyer Beware! Dan "I hate what I've become, trying to escape who I am..." Lokair
i bought a 70s reissue body this way and sold the parts i did not want. after selling the pickguard pickups and bridge. I only paid 180$ for a body to go with my early fender neck. I already had the pickups and bridge I wanted. It all worked out great for me, the guy I bought from was the statosphere, always check feed back and minus a few cranks who will never be happy guy from people with good feed back. 02R96
Stratosphere, that's the outfit that has the body I like. They have a lot of bodies from several of the major manufacturers.
