David Loving
"I Remember Clifford" is a favorite. I can remember where I was when I first heard it! "Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown."

bhodaway10
"I remember Clifford" is one of my favs too. Clifford Brown (who the tune is about) is still one of fav trumpet players. He was definitely "gone too soon." www.brianho.net http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/brianho www.youtube.com/brianhojazz
Dave Ferris
It's on his "The Widow in the Window" release - w/ John Taylor (piano), Abercrombie, Holland and Erskine. Here's a YouTube. That is gorgeous !! I love John Taylor's playing. BTW, I'm accompanying on a Master Class tomorrow up in Ventura with the legendary Jazz singer Shelia Jordan. Erskine told Shelia he would try and stop by before his tribute/memorial concert to Bob Florence up in Santa Barbara. It would be cool if he does and plays a tune or two. 2005 NY Steinway D https://soundcloud.com/dave-ferris
