Analogaddict
I'm looking for a good pop brass library for Kontakt 3 (in my Receptor). Any suggestions..?
Steve Nathan
I don't own it, but the Chris Hein stuff is said to be popular. I still use some pretty old Roland 700 series stuff, although I now load up Mach5 instead of my hardware boxes. Don't rush me. I'm playing as slowly as I can! http://www.stevenathanmusic.com/stevenathanmusic.com/HOME.html https://apple.co/2EGpYXK
b3maniac
You might check out the VIr2 MoJo Horn Section at the VIr2 web site. I don't know about Receptor compatibility, but MoJo Horns runs on NI Kontak Player. I use it in the context of Motown and old soul, and it fits that bill better than tit's recent predecessors. I found it on the web for $399 so it isn't too steep. Of course, this is such a subject topic, so YMMV at it's usability for your purposes. b3maniac
Oops, I was distracted by something I saw here at home and must have had an unconsious typing moment. It should state "better that it's predecessors". My apology. Yamaha MOXF8, MOXF6, Radial Key Largo, Yamaha DXR 10's

Geoff Grace
Fable Sounds recently released a Kontakt edition of their Broadway Big Band library. It's the best sampled jazz/pop brass I've heard, but it comes at a price: $2,495.00. (If you shop around, you should be able to shave at least a couple of hundred off, though.) Geoff Grace
Broadway Big Band has been around for two or three years now. I've been waiting to buy, hoping the price would come down, but no luck so far. Maybe it's because there hasn't been much competition at a lower price point. Mojo is the first library to come along that might change that. I don't think it's as good as Broadway Big Band, but it's a bargain at the price.
