b3keys
I am using FM8 in standalone mode. What settings do I need to have the output come from my studio monitors? I am only hearing the sound from the internal computer speakers when I play from my keyboard. I am using an Edirol FA101 as the audio interface. Thank you. Morizzle
I've never had that problem. Go to Audio & Midi-Settings and make sure your Edirol is selected as the interface. Also make sure the outputs of your interface are selected when you click on "routing". It's not a clone, it's a Suzuki.

Under routing, I see built in only Could I be missing a driver for the FA101 or for CoreAudio? Thoughts?

kanker.
Could I be missing a driver for the FA101 or for CoreAudio? Thoughts? If it uses the Core Audio USB driver, no driver is necessary. If it doesn't, you would need to install the driver if it isn't installed. Try clicking the + in the lower left corner of the Audio MIDI Setup window with the FA101 connected and see if you can add it as an audio device. A ROMpler is just a polyphonic turntable. b3keys
It does use Core Audio. I am not seeing any + sign in the Audio MIDI Setup window. Under System Preferences/Audio/ the FA101 is listed under audio and midi
b3keys
I can get Pro-53 in standalone mode to play through my monitors, but FM8 doesn't. This is really frustrating. I appreciate the suggestions.
burningbusch
Maybe it's time to backup and then delete the FM8 preferences. You will find them in \Library\Preferences\ com.native-instruments.FM8.plist. and User\Library\Preferences\com.native-instruments.FM8.plist. The user one is most suspect. Busch. b3keys
I also have the same issues with Elektric Piano. Maybe I should uninstall all of the NI software and reinstall?
