Basshappi
I found this video on Youtube of Jaco playing "The Chicken" with John Scofield and Ken Dennard and just wanted to share it. Jaco is playing a fretted Jazz with a maple board! He does a totally kickin' solo too. Scofield is awesome , no surprise there and Dennard is groovin' so deep in the pocket-lint you need a dust mask! Yep, I'm a shameless fanboy! Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwhkPSEXs1Q&feature=related Nothing is as it seems but everything is exactly what it is - B. b5pilot
That performance is part of the instructional video that Jaco made. Yeah that was a great video. I used to have it until the tape decayed. Lots of cool stuff and great playing on it. Lydian mode? The only mode I know has the words "pie ala" in front of it. http://www.myspace.com/theeldoradosband
