rizzo9247
http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/1/0/9/229109.jpg My new (used) Fender '50s Precision Bass I picked up fairly cheap. It's extremely clean, just a very small, almost unnoticeable ding on the head stock and a couple of surface scratches on the back. I have no authentic pics yet as she is currently undergoing a minor procedure (new strings, setup, cleaning, etc.)
davio
Sick. Somebody should tell Fender they put too many holes in the pickguard.

EddiePlaysBass
If only I had the cashola ... Promised the misses that I'd only buy gear from money gained from gigs. And we don't play out much. And get paid even less "I'm a work in progress." Micky Barnes The Ross Brown Shirt World Tour

EddiePlaysBass
Gotta get a piggy bank. I actually paid for about 85% of my WAV from my piggy bank It is now very empty But I'm in no rush to buy more equipment. Unless it's an amp. I could use an upgrade there. "I'm a work in progress." 1111000
Nice. Did you buy it from a guy named Marc? I've been gassing for some sort of P Bass but I can't quite land on "the one". These would come really close though.
The Bear Jew
My buddy, Dave, has the same bass in white. This is what it looked like when he first got it: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3326/3501864038_95f70ff0d4.jpg He has since swapped out the pickguard for a tortoise-shell jammy and added a bridge cover... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2426/3967099056_4382bc5828.jpg Pretty bad-ass. It's a great bass. EddiePlaysBass
I don't know if it's the presence of The Bear Jew, but that is one dead sexy bass "I'm a work in progress." Micky Barnes The Ross Brown Shirt World Tour
b5pilot
I like that tortoise shell pickguard. I just recently picked up a Squier p-bass as a project bass and I'm thinking of refinishing it and swapping out the white pickguard for a tortoise shell one. Lydian mode? rizzo9247
I sprung for a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 Vintage P-bass pickup. Pictures of the bass are sorely overdue, I just have this one from last weekend's gig: http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs031.snc3/11833_552705002946_36500331_32745089_6832229_n.jpg
