Bassist, Pino Palladino is now part of a super (fusion) group : Simon Phillips . Pino Palladino . Pino Palladino . PSP.

You can hear and download (for free) latest PSP's opus : GetJuke

AND

You can follow PSP's action on Facebook

MrRamon - I'm assuming you meant Simon Phillips . Pino Palladino . Philippe Saisse.

Unless Pino cloned himself??

:thu:

No big deal - just wanted to clear that up for the rest of us.

Thanks for the heads up.

I downloaded it and listened.

Not what I expected, although I shouldn't have been surprised because I have heard music by Phillippe Saisse before.

To me, it sounds like Bela Bartok started a funk band.

Doh, that explains the title of the track.

p.s.

I listened to it because of the title of the thread...a name I was familiar with and already liked. Might not have listened to it if it said, {"a new supergroup: Cletus Majeetus, Rob Gobworth, and Dante Divinity."

Are these the funky offspring of ELP?

I've been a fan of Simon Phillips for a long time. This isn't what I normally think of him playing or at least sounding like; but I did enjoy it. (Just get that sampled vocal out of there) Looking forward to hearing more.

is a pretty well-rounded musician. Check him out playing zydeco on Night music with Richard Thompson, Hiram Bullock, Omar Hakim, Don Alais, and David Sanborn.

Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
