I like the idea of bringing back old designs, but I'd take them looking "new". I always wondered why car companies never resurrected old models... I had a Roadworn girfriend back in the mid 50's. Once I met a guy who was trying to sell me a pair of old SM 57s for $100. One couldn't see clearly where the rust ended and the dried chewing tobacco residue began. Probably had a noticeable hum too, not from faulty parts but from the stink. There are times when funk not good. If you think my playing is bad, you should hear me sing!
