...
I love that bass, Maury. I'm so glad I got to see it in person before it left Mike's shop. Absolutely gorgeous instrument. My stuff is over here. I need to take a new picture that includes the three guitards that are hanging on the wall to the right of the last bass. rizzo9247
Most of my fish are here. The only bass that I didn't have a chance to take some photographs before I sold it was a Dean Dime Razorback. I also picked up a Strat copy from Rondo Music, I like it. I currently only own the Stingray and the Strat, the rest, as they say, is history.
butcherNburn
I must remember this topic the next time my wife says I have too much stuff. I haven't made a significant musical purchase in about 5 years and I'm down to 3 bases and 2 g*****s, and I really only play 2 of the basses. This was a good reminder that I need to take a family photo. If you think my playing is bad, you should hear me sing!

I'm trying to learn how to take a good picture without the flash reflecting off the finish. Try using some wax paper over the flash; it will diffuse the light and cut down on reflections. I came close to picking up a six string one just to noodle with... I am enamoured with mine even though it lacks definition in the higher range. It certainly has a power about it though. Whoever the scout is at Peavey really hit the mark when he found these. There's one on ebay right now. BTW, Maury, that is an amazing shot of your Lull. Beautiful dude. rizzo9247
Peavey (my axe to) Grind NT5 Every time I fingered one of these, I have been surprised by the price. I came close to picking up a six string one just to noodle with... I got an amazing deal on a "scratch n dent"one from Musiciansfriend in the Fall of 07. It was a lovely looking instrument, felt great, very light, and real easy to play. As Moot stated, it did lack a little somethin', but that wasn't the reason I sold it. There was a ding on the back of the neck, right in the middle, around the 7th fret. The only was I can explain my position for getting rid of it would be the Seinfeld episode with the red dot on the cashmere sweater, it just ruined it.
