ketronianorosso
Hi!Does anyone has any suggestion about the best drawbar settings for playin' pink floyd's dark side of the moon?Basically i'd put no percussion and a lot of fast leslie...i'm working on it in these days, maybe someone did all the settings for this purpose in the past!any suggestion will be ok! thanks, i'm really workin' on hammond sounds for the first time in my life... Tonysounds
Depends....the settings for Breathe are different than the settings for Us & Them, which are definitely different than Eclipse. Use your ears! Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
Joe P
Ketrio..., If you haven't overwritten it yet try factory preset B7. Remember to work the Leslie. Good luck, Joe
ABECK
I'm sure someone will know more about this than me, but I believe they double tracked the hammond (thus the uber-fat sound).
Tonysounds
Two things: Ketrio, preset B7 on what??? (I dont know what instrument he's playing) As for double tracking the organ, I'd never heard that, but Rick's studio organ was an RT32, precursor to B3. That's a beautiful sounding organ (I used one on one of my band's first records) with no percussion. Thicker Chorus/V as I remember. Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
