Are bad days relative to the individual or do bad days affect more than one person...

Are bad days relative to the individual or do bad days affect more than one person at a time? I find that when I come across a person having a bad day, I will continue to run into people having a bad day. Is it negativity gone berzerk, or am I just delusional? :D Who had a bad day today?

Well... I think when you're in a bad mood, you tend to notice other people in a bad mood. It's just how we work, I think. It's kind of like when you learn something new, you suddenly start seeing references to that thing all over the place. It's not that they weren't there before, it's just that you didn't notice them.

Did you happen to check to see if you were standing on their foot? If you have a tendency to do that, that could acount for the consistancy.

Some days are just tough to get through and that's what makes good days more enjoyable. I'm glad I don't live in Iraq now because it would be hard to find a good day there.

I read about a study several years ago concerning the learning ability of school children, and barometric pressure. Apparently it had a great effect on whether kids could concentrate, etc (can't remember if it was high or low pressure that adversely affected people); perhaps that applies to bad days too?

We don't live in a vacuum. If someone close to us is having a bad day, it takes a very concerted and deliberate effort to not have that bad day affect us. And if you manage to accomplish that, of course you are labeled 'insensitive' lol Someone I know has a poster on her office wall. It says "Lord if you cannot make me thin, please make my friends fat"! Unfortunately many of us operate that way; we'd prefer to drag down all those around us than see them having a good time while we are not. Negativity is very infectious.

I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist.

I've heard similiar things about atmospheric pressure. I've always thought it was interesting how you could just have one of those days where you feel like you're dragging all day, and half the people you talk to feel the same way (although I go to college with 3000 potheads, so we tend to be dragging quite often). When I think about how delicate the balance of life, earth and universe I find it pretty easy to buy (the theory, not pot).

Lots of stuff can cause a "bad day". Some are very personal (like a pet dies or something), and some are more general (weather is a biggie). Beyond that, I believe that all moods are contageous - people having a bad day will often bring down those around them. By the same token, having a good day, or even just smiling at the people you pass on the street helps to lift the overall mood.

May all your thoughts be random!

If you have one loud and angry person in a home or workplace who is very nervous, it is only natural that the others in the area will also get nervous and angry as well, especially if the person yells alot. Pretty soon everyone in the same area is having a "bad day". They split up and go their own separate ways and may or may not spread the tension wherever they go. Dan http://musicinit.com/pvideos.html
