Danzilla
I know we've had mentions of this before, but the new & improved search function still didn't find the old thread(s). Anyway, Musician's Friend has their Stupid Deal of the Day, and today its 2 sets of D'Adarrio bass strings (plus their so-cool- they-can't-give-them-away strobe tuner pick) for $16.99. Just thought some people might be interested. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid Call it spam if you will; or call it a helpful tip from your ol' Uncle Dan. davio
Not bad. Thanks for the heads up, Uncle Dan. Wish I had money...
rizzo9247
I bought a three-pack of their acoustic guitar strings that came with that tuner. It works fine on standard-tuned 6-string guitars, haven't used it on a bass yet.
...
Bah. I was ready to purchase and then realized that they are nickel wound strings.
jcadmus
That's a good deal -- if I was using those on my j-bass now, I'd snap up a pack. "Tours widely in the southwestern tip of Kentucky"
Tenstrum
Instead of checking MF everyday, I go to http://www.zerodaydeals.com/. It lists the MF stupid deal of the day plus a whole bunch of other crap. Tenstrum "Paranoid? Probably.
