The solo singer had a fantastically big voice but was 1/2 step sharp in places. No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.

That's when it's handy to keep a 38 by your side so you can put a slug in the CRT tube, like Elvis used to do. Reality is like the sun - you can block it out for a time but it ain't goin' away...

IIRC, he went straight from "...twilight's last gleaming" to the bridge "and the rocket's red glare". It's NOT on YouTube.
