Semi OT - AC power interruption control...?

Maybe someone here has an idea or knows of a simple solution

OKI have my Furman voltage regulators/power conditionersand may eventually add a Furman balanced power unit...which together will give me clean, balanced power and steady voltage regulationnot to mention a double dose of surge protection.

But like what just happened about 10 minutes ago (and can happen)I had a power loss from my local utility that lasted only about 1 secondso, everything in my studio shuts off and than BAM!!!...its all powered up a second laterand the equipment gets slammed and my studio monitors POP!!!...as all the gear powers up.

Isnt there some type of AC breaker that will pop OFF when the electricity goes offand then it stays off until I manually decide to turn it back on?

That way, I can flip all the gear to the off position BEFORE the power gets applied again.

And noI do not want to use any battery UPS system, because even that isnt the complete solution either. Like if I have all my studio gear powered up and decide to run our for a pizza or something for an hourand dont want to shut the studio down cuz I am in the middle of a sessionif I use a battery/UPS solution, and the power goes out longerthe batteries will get drained out, and when the power comes back onBAM!!!...I still get the power slam.

My Furman gear is keeping the voltage from spiking the gearthats not the problemI just hate the loud POP!!! to my monitorsand I dont like ALL the gear getting power up like that instantaneously/simultaneously.

Sois there such a thing as a breaker that shuts off and stays off when there is power loss???

Or some other solution that anyone can think of???

MIR... You could put a SCADA type remote relay on the power sections of the monitors and program it to power up N/O when it boots.

Then you could also, turn your monitors off from the road, when the check bounces from your current client...

You a funny guy!

I'm looking for something that would work on the entire studio line.

It may be a tall order...but I would think there must be some simple, "reverse breaker" device that is triggered into an OFF position when there is a NO power situation....and then it STAYS off until I dedcide to turn it back on.
