Dave Horne Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 While biking yesterday here in Holland I encountered a traffic jam on the bike path. http://members.home.nl/davehorne/images/aug08.JPG No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.

Bottom End Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 LOL! I've only been to Holland, once in Amsterdam and once for the Nijmegen Viertaagse, but I'd love to go back again. "Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, yet you cannot play upon me.'-Hamlet Guitar solos last 30 seconds, the bass line lasts for the whole song.

Dave Horne Posted August 24, 2008 Author Posted August 24, 2008 My wife took the photo yesterday. I resized the photo to make it smaller and more manageable at this site. Cows are great creatures. A friend of mine was a government inspector at a Dutch slaughter house and gave me a personal tour. I saw and learned just how a cow becomes a hamburger. I've been a spectator at the 'walk' in Nijmegen. I've never done it but it seems like a great way to get some serious walking in. No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message.
