Tom Capasso Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I enjoyed your playing. I don't want to limit what any instrument can do, and I thought you made very nice sounds with that P. The way it sounds isn't what I think of as a Precision. Those tones could have probably come from a Jazz bass as well. I think of Precision as more "mid/thuddy" from the old days. Anyone looking for that sound wouldn't find it here. Like I say - nice sound, nice playing. Hope the rest of the band fills in as tight as you two guys. tnb Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Tom, you are truly one of the kindest individuals I have ever met.
MrBurton Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 That was great... You and the P Bass bonded like I've heard only in Burton and Wooten
jeremy c Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Wooten doesn't play a P bass. He plays primarily Fodera basses. Cliff Burton played Rickenbacker, Alembic and Aria basses. Free download of my cd!.
