Fishkid
Anyone tried these? Either the single channel or stereo version? Thanks! ----------- Fishkid
LeiDeLi
I ordered a PQX-572. I tried it for about a week. i really tried hard to like it, because I need a PEQ (and am now using digital). In the end, I returned it. It just sounded too "tubby" and "phasey". There was too much loss of detail in the bands that were supposedly unaffected by the settings. I think the ICs used are just a generation behind the latest generation, and their frequency response is just inadequate for recording work. If you just need a PA or live application, it might be OK. Peace, LeiDeLi
Fishkid
LeiDeli, Thanks for the info. I'm looking for an eq that I can use as a hardware solution for tracks before going to hard disk. I work in Sonar and have several decent plugin eq's that work well for mixing, but i want something that I can use for eq on the way to disk. So are you using a digital eq? If so, which one? ----------- Fishkid
