In checking to be certain he hasn't died recently I discovered he's 22 days older than my dad. That makes him 30 years and 24 days older than me. Not that anyone cares... Jerry Reed is a fantastic picker and such a great personality, whether on stage or on screen. It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Eric Iverson Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 I saw Jerry Reed with Chet Atkins once at the Bottom Line in the Village. It was a great concert. My impression was that Jerry was a very fine player but a little out of practice. I have an album with Jerry and Chet playing together from the 90s, which is nice, but I'd like to hear Jerry in his prime. Any recommendations?
