Well, we just yesterday finished providing the materials needed for a Christmas dinner, clothing and toys for 30 needy families. But...I still gotta cook CHristmas Eve....I'll make the following:

A ham (I'm taking the easy way this year..I'm buying Honey Baked)

A fried turkey

Potatoes and gravy

Oyster Dressing

Corn and Crab soup

Jambalaya

and some vegetables, homemade yeast rolls, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, pecan pie......

A typical Louisiana Christmas dinner.

We had a BIG neighborhood party last night for local charity.

We all brought mega kids toys for todlers on up to teenagers.

They had 2 huge tents just packed by the time the party was over!

It felt really good to do that, of course, everyone has their own personal charities they give to as well.

THe party was catered, the food and drink delicious, and it turned out to be a real festive ocassion! :)

I ordered a t-shirt for my mom, but it hasn't come in yet. It'll be pretty cool.

There's this box at the gas station that says "old-fashioned peppermints", but when you open it a fake rat pops out. I'd like to get that for my stepdad. He's already getting a wallet, but everybody needs a nice fake rat for Christmas.

Friends... still haven't decided. Probably a purple coffee cup for one of 'em (she'll definitely use it, and she loves purple). For the others, not sure... maybe a copy of "The Umbrella Academy" and some incense (inside joke).

This may make her officially spoiled - my eldest (15 year old) daughter will be receiving:

1 Robot Guitar (my over the top selection)

1 Orange Tiny Terror

1 Orange 1X12 cabinet (orange being the preferred amps of her favorite bands)

Assorted accessories to complete the above package.

She didn't last too long on the piano, and the violin is practiced just enough to get by, but I have a feeling everything will be different with this instrument.... If not I'll report back here and everyone can have a good laugh.

Don't you know she will never learn how to tune her instrument if you get her one of those lazy-man's Robot Les Pauls!

Wow! What year are those Don?

Sorry, I missed this, A

The Tele is a '52

The Pro is a '53

Ramp....the tweed Pro sounds stupid good!!! It's a little fatter, bluesier, and mellower compared to my Blackface Pro. This Tele LOVES this Pro.

Me too!! :love::)

Damn. Heyyyyy, buddy, we should get to know each other some time, maybe for, say, Christmas, in the vicinity of a guitar shop. :thu::rawk:
