Bytored
This might be a silly question but what are the differences of having a 1x12 combo or a 2x12 combo both the same wattage? obviously you would be pushing more air with a 2x12. Is if just louder or are there other unseen benefits? What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it gives forth a sound It's got wires that vibrate, and give music What can this thing be that I found?
Dr. Ellwood
Yes pushing more air is true and says allot about how you are heard in the listening area. You have more overall coverage with the 2X12. http://www.thestringnetwork.com
Trucks
As far as I understand it, the extra speakers give your sound more presence. So I don't know how much louder it would be? But it would give you that perception. Soundclick Myspace
Bytored
Ok Thanks guys.. I was bored at work the other day waiting for my Spider Valve to show up, (sold my Marshall half stack) and this question popped into my brain. I am going from a 4x12 to a 1x12 and was contemplating a 2x12 instead of a 1x12 which I ordered. It should be here today.....i hope. What can this strange device be?
