An Awesome Guitar

Recommended Posts

I saw this thing at a Guitar Center and thought it looked interesting. Turns out, it WAS interesting; great balance, very comfortable, excellent sound, and a fast neck. The only guitars that I played there that could have matched it were a Gibson SG and LP. This beast is called the Schecter C-1 Hellraiser. You may want to add it to your wish lists

I Wish I had the cash to buy it :(

I think I saw the C-1 classic at GC too, but I think it was way on the top.

Schecter makes some very solid guitars - especially their set neck ones. I believe they are made in Korea but set up in California before shipping.

You can usually find the C1s, in differing models, on Craig's List.

I'm not a big Schecter fan. I've known a couple that wouldn't stay in tune. And, I was never really fond of their tone. They LOOKED GOOD, but weren't very.

If you're comparing them to the SG or the LP, save for a bit longer, and get a SG or an LP. IMO guitars like Schecters are wannabee's.....they want to be a SG or an LP. Put in the extra effort and get what they wanna be!! :)

That's my approach, anyhow.....
