J J
This has got to be my favorite video of someone displaying their skills. I've been waiting a long time for this to pop its head on youtube. Danny Gatton

miroslav
What's the extra long tail-plate all about..? I couldn't get a real clean view of it and how it's mounted. miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important." Guitar55
What's the extra long tail-plate all about..? I couldn't get a real clann view of it and how it's mounted. That may have been where he once mounted his "Magic Dingus Box" which he used to remote control a Lelsie and an Echo unit.
Zuben
Gatton had a handful of highly modified guitars A couple of them with that tail piece on them. I have seen his Magic Digus Box set up but I am not sure how the Tele in the video would be used to mount it. The guitar world lost a talent that still had not reached his potential or recognition. He was a great "chicken" picker and had a style that few can copy. I am not using the term chicken picker as a ut down. I wish I could do some of the chicken picken Gatton, Adkins and Roy Clark could play.
