We agree.

We disagree.

You are a pain in the ass.

I'm a pain in the ass.

Reminds me of my in-laws......

I'd like to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

If you happen to live somewhere where you don't have a Thanksgiving, you are welcomed to come over and try some Turkey on Thursday.

Deep fried turkey? I must be in the wrong part of the country.

Anyway, I'm just gonna spend the day watching football and drinking beer. I'm much happier with that then with my extended family. Talk about a way to get labeled "a pain in the butt."

Hopefully I will feel better by then. I've been sick for 5 days and finally got to the doctor. Turns out I had strep throat or some low-level derivation. I haven't wanted to eat anything these days. :(

Shut up and play.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all too. Yes we will be deep frying as well as oven baking a bird. Every year my bro-in-law gets great pleasure in proving to his mom that his fried bird comes out faster and more tender....and each year she insists on cooking one in the oven also....and the comments and comparisons are made at the table....most of the talk is the same talk as last year...I guess tradition includes duplicating the conversation......invariably someone gets a case of gas and demonstrates to everyone else how loud it can be, usually followed by an imitator...or in some cases an innovator....but it is always a swell time and I sleep really well that night.

Have a great and safe one y'all!

I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for all of the advice you have given me. In the short time I have been here, I have learned a lot!

I'll leave you with this: In the words of the great Mr. Carlson, station manager of WKRP in Cincinnati, "With God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"

PS: If TVLand is showing the Thanksgiving episode of "The Bob Newhart Show", I suggest you tape it. It's the episode where the men (Mr. Carlin, Bob, Howard Borden and Jerry the Dentist) get rip roaring drunk on Thanksgiving and try to cook a frozen chicken. Then Bob tries to order Chinese food and ends up ordering Moo Goo Goo Goo Gai Pan!

Plenty of food here, Geoff. And our community airport is only two miles from the house. I'll keep the landing lights on for ya.

Has anyone ever eaten Turducken? It's duck and chicken shoved inside a turkey. I've never had it, but did see it on the Food Network.

Also, does anybody here actually jam with anyone on Thanksgiving? I'm thinking about dragging out the guitar that day.

Revolead, get better soon! I can sympathize with you regarding family on Thanksgiving. There have been times where I just want to lock myself in my room to get away from them!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Eat, drink, and beat Larry, I mean beat Mary, er, I mean be merry! Anyways, hope everyone has a great holiday!

Avoid playing the amplifier at a volume setting high enough to produce a distorted sound through the speaker-Fender Guitar Course-1966
