Ian Sharrock
Just returned home from Sound Control music store with a far lighter wallet. I went down there with my wife to buy an Alesis Control Pad to help get drum tracks down. Tucked away in the corner was an M-audio Keystation Pro-88. Now, I've seen these in ads before & they looked fairly interesting, but never come face to face with one. "What's that?" she asks as I'm trying the action out. I mentioned the piano keys, control options, etc. "Do you need one?" she asks. "Not really, just looking at it" Then she floored me. "If it does all that then wouldn't it be a better controller keyboard than the one you're currently using in the studio. I think you should buy it!" ...So I did! Dave Horne
I'm sure it's just a genetic abnormality, they tend to skip a generation. No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.

Trill
Maybe it was your humble approach, that you really didn't need it. I'll have to try that one You gotta love a woman who understands the values of better action and better features.

jjs sound tech
Hi everyone - let me answer your questions:- No I am not a genetic abnormality yes, I have two sisters (but they are married to geeks) justajigolo isnt lying Im not after a new kitchen We dont need a new sound desk, the 32 channel one we use is fine I dont buy clothes very often - I hate shopping! This isnt Candid Camera - Keyboard action on the new desk is superior to the DX5 being used before - so we had to buy it!
