Hardtail
Humbuggers? I think he uses that term because of an old Johnny Winter tune.
Chunk
Would I have to drill holes for that? I really like the way it plays now, I wouldn't want to mess that up. all chucks children are out there playing his licks *Bob Seger
J J
I bought a DX-1 last year. It's a pretty sweet guitar, and it sure did call me out too! I think it's the most bassy acoustic I've played to date and the price is even better. That one looks especially cool! As a reviewer I'd give it an 8 out of 10 though. Why an 8? Well the bassy sound was real awesome to me for a long while, but just recently, I miss having more mids and highs. So once in a while I still get out my alvarez. Also, since the finish is really really light (if there is any at all!) dirt and grime really stick to it. I, personally, don't mind that at all though. I think it actually looks pretty sweet. Mine's developed a lot of grime just below the pickguard. I guess I could get that crap off but I like that look better anyway. Needless to say, It's an awesome guitar until I get enough dough to buy a D-28 or something.I know you wern't asking for any kind of a review but I just thought I'd give you my insight since I have one. If you wanted to have a pickup on it, you would just get a clip on or one made for a acoustic. http://www.thestringnetwork.com

Gifthorse
Yeah bass in acoustics has to be balanced or it sounds like crap in a mix. I know cuz my 12 string has alot of bass and we had to eq the crap out of it in mixes http://flagshipmile.dmusic.com/ http://www.myspace.com/gifthorse
