Bluesape
Won't hurt anything, but they won't sound full. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
miroslav
I've used electrics on an acoustic. Nothing wrong with it...you won't damage anything...it's just a different sound. A little lighter and more jangly. miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important."
Kramer Ferrington III.
Neil had strong words to say about it last time somebody asked, but seriously, they just won't sound as full. No biggie if you're just going to play around the house. And is there much point in putting on a set of strings that won't sound the best, as a temporary measure? How temporary is "temporary"? No point wasting a set of electric strings if you can get some proper acoustic ones (say) next week. Band MySpace My snazzy t-shirt empire
