tarkus
I had this bass custom built in 1998 by Chris Stambaugh.(www.stambaughdesigns.com) It was great learning process discussing different materials and stuff to go on a bass. Chris is a great guy to get on the phone and hash out details. If I had to do it all over again - I wouldn't hesitate to get Stambaugh on the project. In 2002 - my house burned down (gas leak/explosion). I lost several vintage guitars, 3 high end synths, a PA system, And a few basses were burned beyond recognition. No to mention my house had to be demolished. However, this bass was in it's case, on the floor in the center of the room. The case was destroyed, but this one-of-a-kind survived! http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u175/PLA930/Stambass8f.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u175/PLA930/Stambass8h.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u175/PLA930/Stambass8.jpg
Danzilla
Beauteous! Glad it's still among the living. You did buy a new case for it, right? "Am I enough of a freak to be worth paying to see?"- Separated Out (Marillion) NEW band Old band
zeronyne
Nice, is that an "Eye of Sauron" inlay? "For instance" is not proof.
tarkus
Yes - oddly - it fits a Squire case like a glove. No it's not the 'Eye of Sauron' but you could call it that if you want, it is an Eye - I thought that would be a cool inlay since the Spider inlay was huge and $$.
