If you ever get a chance to meet Fred, he is one of the most approachable guys you will ever meet. A true musician, has a degree from U or AR. He was even in the band there!

 

He has been a great friend of mine for years and have hung out with some interesting characters with him such as Harry Neilsen and Miles Davis. (Fred named his oldest son after Miles)

 

He is a walking history book on Rock. He has some great stories!

Zub.....thanks for a great photo of a legendary road warrior!!! Any idea what year that is? The Blackface Deluxe Reverb is one of the iconic combo amps. The fact that an artist like Fred has played that amp for that long, and continues to do so is a tribute to the old Deluxe Reverb!!!
