Guitarzan
i am soon to enter the unplugged realm. tomorrow i am picking up a used Ovation accoustic. unsure of the model but it is a real american model with spruce top. it has to be at least 20 years old as best as i can figure out. my buddy bought a new taylor and i am adopting this for 100 bucks. if he remembers to bring it to work. not a bad deal. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will

A String
You have to have an acoustic. It's like a totally different instrument. Enjoy it Zan and please be sure to post pics and clips when you get a chance! mdrs
There is something about an acoustic guitar....The feel and tone are so natural.....wood and steel and you (well, add in some graphite for good measure with the ovation!!), and it's just like breathing.....something you NEED to do!! There are so many things you can't do without an acoustic. I really like an acoustic backing an electric in many applications...even hard rock. Don "There once was a note, Pure and Easy. fantasticsound
Wow! I don't know how you've survived until now without one. I live for my acoustic. The electrics are fantastic to play, but the acoustic is the center of my world, personally. It's easiest to find me on Facebook. blitzkrieg bop
Good Buy for $100!!! I love my Ovation; it's not American made, but it's an awesome instrument (Celebrity ck047 Figured Koa top). Guitarzan
model number is 1112-4 which as best as i can figure out is a 70's custom balladeer. ebony fretboard and sitka spruce top. the headstock has been cracked and repaired ( not professionally ). but it is old and has the ebony fretboard and wasn't expensive so i am happy. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will
