rw2003
Most of us read about guitars in GP and other similar mags. A friend gave a recent copy of the New Yorker magazine which includes a GREAT story titled "Struts and Frets - Building a better guitar" by Burkhard Bilger. It is about luthier Ken Parker who gave us the Parker Fly electric guitar and is now taking a similar approach to creating a better acoustic guitar. Here is a link to a shortened version of the written article... http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/05/14/070514fa_fact_bilger Audio version narrated by author with lots of guitar clip samples to illustrate. Take a listen... http://www.newyorker.com/mp3/2007/05/14/070514_theperfectwave.mp3 "Spend all day doing nothing But we sure do it well" - Huck Johns from 'Oh Yeah' Click to Listen to Oh yeah
