blitzkrieg bop Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 I may have posted something similar to this a year ago... I have a Vox 847 Wah that makes a crackling sound when engaged. I recently tried to clean around the Pot, blew some air in there and stuff, and while it sounded a "bit" better, still makes quite a nasty crackling. Do you guys agree that the Pot itself needs to be replaced, and if so how much do you think it will run? I forgot how much I loved that thing...need to get it working! I'm going to be bringing my strat in for a pickup change this week so I am going to ask the tech as well. Thanks!
