Guitarzan
suppose you had a very collectable guitar and you found a cheap (POS) guitar that for some reason was the best playing and most toneful guitar ever made period. but the only way you could aquire it would be to trade your cherished axe. which by the way isn't the most wonderful sounding instrument. what would you do? http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will
The Geoff
Realise the full value of the collectable and be happy with the player. G. miroslav
We've kicked this can around 5 ways to Sunday... IMO...you have to really decide what it is you want to do with your guitars. Soif it's for playing...then it's all about the feel/tone of the guitar. If it's for speculating...then it doesn't matter how it feels/sounds as long as you can get your money out of it when it's sold. Nothing worse than having a nice white elephant that sucks donkey balls when you play it! Orwhere you are afraid to really play it a lot or take it anywhere because it's an expensive "white elephant". miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important." The Big G
gotta be the better playing guitar, bank the cash from the costly beasts sale, play the cheap but awesome axe and buy a great amp and set up with the cash..... The POS guitar is so good it will be worth a fortune one day anyhow, its that good!!! G Love life, some twists and turns are more painful than others, but love life..... http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=592101
Junior 1
Put the collectable away and let it go up in value and buy the player! If you really enjoy playing and it's a POS that makes you happy, then the headstock means nothing. My favorite is an SX LP that I bought for $100! Just love the neck! MWO.
