Tenstrum
First: Third: Gnarly-lookin break, man! Have you considered making a sticker of that broken bone image and putting it on a vintage bass? Awesome! Would that mean that I would finally have my own line of signature basses??????????? The John Carter "Broken Hand" Hohner B-Bass Professional. Or even the John Carter "Broken Hand" 5-String Yamaha Signature Series?? That.Would.Rock.Extremely hard! Tenstrum "Paranoid? Probably. Tenstrum
The Orthopedist said my hand is healing well. I have to go back in a week and he is going to X-Ray it again. So far, no pins are needed! YAY! He said I could start playing my bass again in 5 weeks. YAY! Tenstrum "Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face." thabottomend
In addition to the stickers, you should also do a line of embroidered baseball caps. I want a black one to match my sticker. Tom Capasso
Tenstrum, Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad to hear that you are healing well. Thanks for the picture. Very interesting. And valuable - you even got Wolf to post (nice to see ya)!! Of course you have the right to some compensation from the accident, and you have the right to sue. It's my hope that you can deal with the insurance company (with the help of a lawyer) and avoid an actual legal action. I hope it goes well for you! Tenstrum
Got the cast off today. Orthopedist said that my hand was 90% healed up. It will take another couple of months for it to fully heal, but he gave me the go ahead to start playing again! (Thank God!) I just have to be careful lifting weights for a little while. Overall, it feels pretty good. Still a little sore and stiff, but that should rapidly fade. Tenstrum "Paranoid? Probably. Phil W
Great stuff Tenstrum! I don't know if you saw my broken wrist thread; but I found that it just took a month or so to get back up to speed. At first it was a little awkward. What helped was a lot of playing (but in short sessions each time) and a lot of swimming which I found a safe way to strengthen the hand again. http://philwbass.com
