SilverDragonSoun
My fondness for my XT is pretty well documented, but no GT for me. dB I am also fond of the original V-Synth. I don't have the XT, I have the original V-synth and I love it. I checked out the initial specs and demos of the GT and while its nice, I couldn't justify the upgrade to the GT from the V-synth. I have even begun to touch the surface of what the V-synth can really do. In all honesty I would check out the GT and see what it can do over the V-synth and see if its worth it to get the GT over the original V-Synth/GT. aphemia
SDS/DB - any tips for getting more out of my V-Synth??!! I bought a Triton Extreme and a V-Synth just before Christmas to replace my old live rig (A90 + rack modules). To be honest, 95% of what I'm now playing is from the Korg with limited bits and bobs from the V-Synth. I KNOW that I'm not getting the most out of the instrument. I've only really tweaked a couple of presets and have not experimented with sampling anything in and doing something crazy with it. Any advice to get me started? There's a lot of potential in there for me to drag out! Cheers Aphemia PS Apologies for hijacking the thread www.myspace.com/myaphemia

zeronyne
I own a V-Synth. I was just wondering if any had gotten into anyone's hands yet. "For instance" is not proof.

It sounds like your asking about the GT, right? Begin the day with a friendly voice A companion, unobtrusive - Rush
zeronyne
Yes, like the title of this thread, I was hoping for some reviews of the GT...is it even out yet? No one seems to have a definitive answer. "For instance" is not proof.
Tusker
I found a Messe demo suggesting that AP synthesis is akin to Yamaha VL, except that it uses samples and models: http://media.eskildsen.dk/eskildsen/RolandFrankfurt-1.wmv
