DavidMPires
No good So I've ordered a rack case from BassCentre in London on the 23rd of April, two days after I made the order they email me saying - "sorry but we run out of stock on that racks and we ordered them already should be here by the end of the week". Which I replied "ok no worries that's fine by me". Later in the week they emailed saying that they don't have the case yet, hopefully they will receive Friday. Week went by, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...I've email them yesterday and no answer, call them today and the guy turned out to be really grumpy and said that they have ordered and I've been told that, I've ask when can I expect my case and he replied that he's hopping to get that during the next couple days. I'm moving house this Saturday, and I will have to change the address on the order, I'm seriously considering in cancel the order. I could have bought the case from somewhere else if they have told me in the first place that they need to order. www.myspace.com/davidbassportugal "And then the magical unicorn will come prancing down the rainbow and we'll all join hands for a rousing chorus of Kumbaya." - by davio
JonathanD
It took me a while to find a place that didnt do this to me. Its sweetwatersound.com. That doesnt help you in the UK, but I know your pain. I would say cancel and look on Ebay, your local shops, and if all else fails another internet site. Make sure to call and ask if they have it in stock. alexclaber
The Bass Centre has gone seriously downhill over the past few years. If I were you I'd cancel your order and buy from elsewhere - I can pretty much guarantee that you can get it cheaper too. What size/depth of case do you need? Heavy duty or light weight? Brocko777
There is too much competition out there for a company to yank you around like that. Even if it isn't their faoult they should be in contact with you and let you know the status of your purchase. With all the tracking and gizmo's that do tracking stuff you should know exactly where the product is. Tell them that you had a gig last Friday and without the case they said you would have your rack gear got damaged due to a fall and now its in the shop. What kind of help are they going to give you?? Its like I sell you my car with 3 whgeels and tell you I get the other one to you in a few days..... tick tock... a week goes by. That car is useless to you without that tire. Your rack gear is useless without a case to protect it! Phew! Can ya tell I've dealt with this kinda stuff?!? Don't have a job you don't enjoy. If you're happy in what you're doing, you'll like yourself, you'll have inner peace. ~ Johnny Carson
DavidMPires
I'm looking to a 3 or 4 rack case unit, prefer heavy duty co's I plan to take it with me to all the place, and some times will have to travel to Portugal, and I had a lightweight which is broken that's why I am replacing it. I'm so fed up of shops lately. First was sound control then Bass centre, I'm seriously thinking in starting to order from portugal, This shop where I used to buy my stuff, the guys didn't had much, but would order anything we ask, and he started having ampeg after I order him my gear and then he start ordering warwick, he's a very nice guy. Pity I don't know any shop like that around here. www.myspace.com/davidbassportugal "And then the magical unicorn will come prancing down the rainbow and we'll all join hands for a rousing chorus of Kumbaya." - by davio
