Sven Golly
Just curious how many forumites have noticed the sticky at the top of the forum, notifying us that the forums will be offline starting tonight at 10pm CST? See you folks when we're back online.

Trill
I did catch that stickie, hope they improve the search feature. Good to see you around again Sven , I'll be passing pretty close to a little north of Kitchener (sp) in about a month, Wish I could swing by Toronto and catch you in action. Sven Golly
Good to see you around again Sven , I'll be passing pretty close to a little north of Kitchener (sp) in about a month, Wish I could swing by Toronto and catch you in action. But as always I'll be pressed for time . Thanks, Trill... nice to be back. Let me know when you'll be the 'general' vicinity... I sometimes gig west of the city, maybe the planets will align and I'll be closer to where you'll be. Cheers, SG

Ed Coury
How many people know that in 20 to 30 billion years, the sun will expand into a red ball and die, overwhelming Earth with heat? ProfD
How many people know that in 20 to 30 billion years, the sun will expand into a red ball and die, overwhelming Earth with heat? Reports I have read suggest the big light will definitely burn for another 5 billion years. Based on those numbers alone (5, 20, 30 billion), what is our significance here again? Glad to have the forum back up and running. It is a cool place to spend time while we still have heat and electricity. I've already bought sun screen. You can never plan too far ahead... Reality is like the sun - you can block it out for a time but it ain't goin' away... Phil W
The main thing I noticed is the little icon that tells me if someone is online or not. Also noticed that the search is functioning a little better and there is an automatic function that prevents double posts. http://philwbass.com
Byrdman
How many people know that in 20 to 30 billion years, the sun will expand into a red ball and die, overwhelming Earth with heat? Well, of course. Doesn't everybody get astrophysics at college? By then though, we should be able to move the planet further out. Unless, of course, its bad for business.
