It's a pretty amazing historical account of all the gear they ever used, the sessions, the engineers, the mods they did to gear, etc. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but it's a monster at over 500 pages, and 7-8 lbs? Comes in a box that looks like one of the old reel to reel boxes, a nice poster of one of the REDD recording consoles, and a bunch of other treats. Great gift idea to suggest to the better half if they can't think of anything for your next birthday... What we record in life, echoes in eternity. linwood Posted May 1, 2007 Share Posted May 1, 2007 I have to agree with ya, Dan. It's a fantastic book. I bought two. One for me and one for a gift for a good friend of mine.
