What makes music "Dead Sexaay"?

I listened.

No offense, but, from what I heard... this is not dead sexxay. To be honest, I'm not hearing sex of any kind here, at least not sex that involves more than one person.

Too funny.

Toni Braxton------Another sad love song, her voice oozes sexy to me.....not sex, but sexy.

I'm with CMDN and his supporters.

I'm not a huge DD fan (though I did like their version of Kashmir - didn't someone mention that song in this thread?). I don't "feel" most of what I've heard (admittedly limited).

I like the few Seal tunes I've heard, and they do strike me as sexy.

While I agree that black R&B will always sound sexier than anything a bunch of white boys can put together (my age showing), here's some other examples of "sexy music" (courtesy of Google):

Well, I'm a bit late to the party... Here's my take on dead sexaay:

I heartily agree with Seal and Prince. RicBassGuy mentioned "Destiny" by Zero7 -- good one!

"Tiger Tiger" by Duran Duran (redundant redundant) is a great tune, with some supa sexy fretless & sax going on. Come to think of it, there are a lot of really cool DD bass lines. I may have to start a whole new topic on them...

"Devoted" by Lacuna Coil for reasons I can't explain. I really dig that main melody & the super deep bass in the verse. Cristina Scabbia's vox are definitely sexy

Most of The Cure's Disintigration, esp. "Prayers for Rain" and "Last Dance" is sexy in a very melancholy way.

Pretty much anything that moves you, but it has to be slow and slithery :)

It's not simple to be simple.
