i plugged it in and tuned it up and handed it to him.

he was very excited.

today was his birthday party and i figured it would rock his world.

i need to find a faded epi g400 for him in the future.

i have had a deep seated desire for an SG for a long time and got side tracked by the LP.

the LP could not make the GAS go away.

Boy, oh Boy, oh Boy! I went to bed early last night, and LOOK WHAT YOU DID WHEN I WAS GONE!!!

That is one beautiful guitar, Zan. I LOVE   the natural wood shineing thru!!

Use it in good health, and happiness!!

Oh, and tell MiniZan (?Angus of the North?) :D to take care not to scratch it while doing the goose step around your home with it!!

Also, as your forum tone therapist :/ , I think it's time you attended a GUITAR-A-HOLIC'S ANONYMOUS meeting. We've missed you.....I want to hear the story about how you got the guitar, sound clips, etc. etc.

The coffee's hot....I'll bring the donuts, and a couple of old amps to play it thru...... :thu::rawk: :rawk:

i am so pumped. the action on this is too low for even for me. i will give it a little tweak and put some foam under the pickups to stop the flopping.

what a neck! it is super smooth and has a very nice piece of rosewood that doesn't feel sticky.

i wonder if someone had done some extra fret work because they are really smooth for a faded.

light as a feather and not neck heavy at all.

i really want to get some clips done soon.

i like the pickups so far. i have heard mixed comments on the pickups but they seem quite balanced.

the first riff i played was Hells Bells followed by Brett doing some Thunderstruck.

i suspect the strings are super light, it plays itself with a little buzzing.

this will kill with a set of 10's.
