Man, that is funny as hell! :D

That is great way to break up the monotony on a straight ahead hit. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely Borat meets Monk.

That rendition of "Well you Needn't" reminds me of a gig I did with a great NY bari player where (at one point, for a joke) we played some minor key standards in major keys.

The winner, or the most atrocious, was probably "Round Midnight." Convert the whole melody to major (but keep the 4th bar 'as is'.) With exaggerated vibrato on the bari, it sounded like some kind of 'Guy Lombardo' nightmare.

Ha ha!!! This is great. :thu: I saw an earlier version of this without much explanation. This one with the wig and all is funny as heck. This could be lesson 101 to a jazz student...

Oh man. I can't stop watching this. The look on his face when he's done playing 'Well You Needn't' is priceless. And I love how he reharms the second chord as a G major instead of a Gb.

I can't get those melodies out of my head! At church tonight I kept throwing them in as they worked so seamlessly over the square changes.

I am eagerly awaiting another episode.
