I still need to wire it up, but she is strung and acoustically, the guitar just sings!! I also need to make an appropriate trussrod cover. I hope to have it in Bill's hands for good by Wednesday or Sunday at the latest... I haven't clipped the stringers yet, either...

That particular case is made by KAYCE. Best, most versatile cases I have ever seen. It has the advantages of a gig bag and a hard case all in the one package with tons of storage available in 4 pockets on the front and two inside.

That string tree is THE BEST!! This neck was built with a very shallow backset requiring one and so I did the concept design of floating rollers using brass or bronze and Woodchuck (my machinist) put it to MASTERCAM and machined it out (lot of effort on his part making stainless steel pulley rollers for it too) and I am tellin' ya, it is the cat's ass!! The rollers follow the true path of each individual string and apply uniform pressure at the nut. No binding. The bridge is also on threaded rollers so bends always go back to perfect pitch. It's gonna kill me to give this one up!

The woods for the top and back were going to be specifically for me, but Bill is a good friend and so I felt he deserved them. After I get it wired up (and make a suitable trussrod cover and finish the setups), I will post clips before I permanently deliver it.

What are the pickup configurations on that one (and pickups)? You've definately got to post some sound clips.

Since he liked the sound and versatility of my standard setup as on my engineering model, it has the Carvin C22J for more jazz tones in the bridge position and the C22B vintage pickup in the bridge position. They are both tapped and with my selection system, you can select any individual coil or any combination of coils which would yield 24 different combinations, I believe, in a highly intuitive layout...

Thanks for all the comps, guys! I do appreciate it!
