Trill
http://www.cargo-trailers.com/nhawk_blk.jpg I pick up a 16 ft trailer Tuesday or Wed. The tax man says I have to buy equipment or give it back to Uncle Sam (2006 ouch!). It is for my business but it does make a great gig vehicle for a band and I have future GAS trips planned and will begin my quest for that Hammond sound. I think a B3 will roll in it quite nicely a maybe a baby grand is in the future also.
MusicaL
Trill, Great GAS mileage!!! Hope you have room for a CP-80 and a Rhodes 88 suitcase also. Throw is a couple of clavs, mellotrons and (along with the B3 and Baby Grand), you've got a veritable retro rig!!! Excellent. aL Gear: Yamaha MODX8, Mojo 61, NS2 73, C. Bechstein baby grand. Just using it to aquire some nice studio pieces . Yes it is a load to haul, but it makes doing shows (trade shows) a whole lot easier.

Actually, I gave up gigging for a number of years to focus on the studio. Nonetheless, nice hauler you got there. A friend of mine has a similar deal and uses it to move music equipment, funny cars and the whole 9 yards. Enjoy the toys! eric
Excellent! Now you need to buy a brand new super-charged Dually to tow it! And get some new gear to stash inside. Glad to see the Eric moments picking up in frequency!
MidLifeCrisis
Congrats Greg! Best of luck with the new hauler. But now that you have it, is there any $$ left to spend on gear to go in it? Looks like an expensive rig. Steve A Lifetime of Peace, Love and Protest Music www.rock-xtreme.com

linwood
She's a beauty! A 16 footer!! Back in the day, I had a 5x8. We'd fill that thing to the brim, sides bulging out and and crusin' up and down I-95 to the next gig. Some of the best days I've had.
Trill
I'm in the market for a trailer. What's the make you bought? Website? Actually that is not the exact one, mine is a Homesteader Hercules But here is a site with lots of brands, And there are several lower cost manufactuers on ebay mostly in Georgia and I have a dealer less than 5 miles from the house. trailer sales She's a beauty! A 16 footer!! Back in the day, I had a 5x8. We'd fill that thing to the brim, sides bulging out and and crusin' up and down I-95 to the next gig. Some of the best days I've had. Thats the size we had in the last 2 bands I was in, and both of them had to be strategically packed with a precise plan to shut the doors  But now that you have it, is there any $$ left to spend on gear to go in it? Looks like an expensive rig. Steve, you know that is the first thing I think of However It is a huge need for us, the machines we haul to shows are 12' long. I have a flat bed 16' but I tried tarps and the last time I bought giant plastic wrap rolls from Grainger. C'mon Trill, don't give up on the band! I get frustrated sometimes with the scheduling, Most people would think me insane for even trying. I work shift work ,weekends and travel around the country on business maybe 15-20 times a year. And trade shows are a week at a time. The guys I play with are great players so there all in two bands and that makes it a logistical nightmare. And I kind of like the solo thing or just helping out at church or working on a special project musically and I love learning new stuff Excellent! Now you need to buy a brand new super-charged Dually to tow it! And get some new gear to stash inside. When My Chevy Silverado got hit the first time, the Ins co had to lease a truck for me to go to a Michigan Trade show. It was heavy duty Chevy with the large Duramax Diesel Engine. I know ,I know I'm not endearing myself to the gas mileage people ,but power can be additive ,especially when you have to have it.Don't worry I'm looking at a hybrid car for trips without the truck
