bobbytheone
hey guys i have a fender baritone custom (made in japan) bout a year old slight scratch on one side although it still has the plastic on the scratchplate it seriously has hardly been played at all, i may have the chance to exchange it for a japanese marcus miller signature jazz bass after trying loads of diffrent types of basses i came to the conclusion to get the one that feels the best and the one i'v wanted ever since i started playing although the baritone hardly gets played, do you think this is a fair trade saying as the baritone (as far as i know) is discontinued) Cheers Bobby www.myspace.com/bobbytheone

jeremy c
Sounds like the right idea to me. Is it a straight-up trade? Or are you looking for a buyer for the baritone? How much do you want for it? Free download of my cd!.
bobbytheone
as far as i know it's going to be a straight up trade i'm hoping for £500 as it only has one scratch on it i'm just unsure about the trade as i'm thinking i might get more selling it private www.myspace.com/bobbytheone

It won't be the easiest instrument to sell as there is a small market for baritones. Free download of my cd!.
bobbytheone
yeah i suppose your right their, if the trade doesn't work i'm hoping to go into a pawn shop and use the gift of the gab lolll www.myspace.com/bobbytheone
saxofunk
If UK pawn shops are operated like US pawn shops, you'll get less screwed by trading it or consigning through a music store. The Marcus rocks. I'm not sold that the pre-amp is all they say it is, but you can't go wrong IMHO. - Matt W.
