Hardtail
Can anyone recommend a good one?
Fumblyfingers
Well The Complete Beatles seems good. I have them and they are not bad on the chords and stuff. I even found some voicings I had not used before, simple ones that sounded good. As to actually how accurate the chords are I don't know. I got mine at Sam Ash but click the links below to see the covers as there are several Complete Beatles books. Published by Hal Leonard. http://www.encoremusic.com/piano/1701146.html?fri=1739e8777c01f5061930ec0142c09b4511c9386-10585-7700024&sid=211 http://www.encoremusic.com/piano/1701147.html
Justus A. Picker
The Complete Scores is good. It's a bit pricey but you'll never need another Beatles songbook. http://www.smokedsalmonband.com/exile/exile1.jpg
Squ
I highly recommend the Beatles Complete Scores. http://www.amazon.com/Beatles-Complete-Scores/dp/0793518326/ref=pd_bbs_3/102-0717480-6375359?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174864455&sr=8-3 It has every part, every instrument of every song. It's expensive, but worth it. Red Red Rockit

Deacon
I've got the Complete Scores, and it's not only expensive - it's HEAVY! Here's a tip if you get it; the type is small, so for parts I'm learning, I scan it, blow it up and print it out. It's easier to read and you won't have to build scaffolding to hold the book. Junior 1
I have an original Beatles Rubber Soul book from I think 1968!
AlChuck
When you think that typical music books are $20 or so and have a dozen songs with just piano staves or melodies and chord changes, the Beatles Complete Scores at about $75 is what I would consider a steal, not expensive at all... gitfidler
There's a book that I had at one time (loaned it, lost it) that I think was titled 'The Beatles Fake Book'. The songs were reduced, like all fake books, to the melody line and the chords. With a little input from the recordings I could put the songs together. I think that the cover was black and gold. For its size it held just about all the songs I wanted.
