Tusker
http://youtube.com/watch?v=_ipeQ5wXl7A&mode=related&search Great ensemble at the top of their form. Is that a tolexed clav in the middle and a mini on top? Or something else? Thanks for your help, Jerry
Jim Alfredson
In the middle is a Hohner Pianet I think. http://www.hollowsun.com/vintage/pianet/index.html Not sure what the top is. Keep it greazy! B3tles - Soul Jazz THEO - Prog Rock
burningbusch
I'm betting on a Clavinet/Pianet Duo. I think I can make out controls on the left (which are absent from the Pianet) and there's more room on the right for your ashtray and Tab. The duo would make more sense as the Pianet by itself isn't going to give you a huge color contrast over the Rhodes. http://www.gti.net/junebug/clavinet/clavduo_small.jpg I don't know the date of this clip but it's definately after Jaco hit the scene. NOBODY played bass like that before him. He even mimics how Jaco would stand/dance. Busch.
marino
Definitely a Mini on top of a Planet/Clavinet Duo on top of a Rhodes.Bunny Brunel is on bass, Tom Brechtlein on drums. I was unaware of that lineup. Thanks!
Bobadohshe
Whoa indeed! Interesting old school footage. I didn't realize Tom Brechtlein was around back then. Shows what I know. Clifton
I don't know the date of this clip but it's definately after Jaco hit the scene. NOBODY played bass like that before him. Too true, like Hendrix for guitarists. His influence even today is incalculable. He was the man indeed.
